Cave Story Comic: AI Bravery

I'm not sure if this will be funny to anyone other than me, it was kind of one of those "you had to be there" moments.

(Warning: slight spoilers)

The Cave Story Wii port has a few extra modes, one of them is a "Curly Mode" were you can play through the game as Curly. It's basically the same as being Quote so I consider it a "do you want to be a boy or a girl?" mechanic.

Anyway, in Curly mode Quote is now the NPC. (He still doesn't talk though) I went to fight the Core and I was standing up on a high platform and Quote managed to run under the platform to the boss and just started rapid-shooting it to death.

I was like "Yay! I didn't have to do anything!" it was so funny.
So, even when the roles are reversed, Quote is still the hero.

As for the comic, it came out okay I suppose. I love how the last panel came out but I'm not too fond of the sky in the first two panels, what do you guys think? Also, have any funny random things like this ever happened to you?
