Harvest Moon comic: MORE gifts!

OH GOD I FINALLY FINISHED IT.  This took so, so long OMG.  I AM NEVER DOING INDOOR BACKGROUNDS AGAIN.  Though I think I said that last time I drew an indoor background so we'll see how long that lasts.

But yeah, when you think of it the villagers, especially the one's you can marry, are very superficial.  Your entire relationship is practically based on gifts.  I think this is one of the reasons I really loved AWL when a lot of people didn't, because it's relationship building was SO GOOD.  The characters all had a wide variety of things to say and lots of heart events and lots of depth to their characters and while you could give them gifts to up their affection it goes up just fine gradually over time just from talking to them.  And that seems a lot more natural and well paced.  

Though I still love FoMT, I've been playing it lately and it made me remember why I love it so much.  You can practically industrialize that freakin' farm.  They give you a hell of a lot of land that can be tilled, you can plant SO MANY CROPS and make such HUGE pastures.  I have like a hundred stalks of corn it's amazing. And with Harvest Sprite labor I can actually take care of it all.  There's no way I'd be able to manage that much land by myself, thank goodness for the Harvest sprites! 

Plus even if they all repeat like the same phrase every heart cycle the characters are at least all cute with diverse personalities and occupations.

Haha, sorry for ranting games I like tend to have that effect on me!
